I agreed with Kev's assessment of the composition and DOF. I have to say though, there are times when a certain picture really stands out just for certain aesthetic values, and though I'm not knocking your shot in any way, I like this one purely for the assembly of colors you've captured here. It seems very much alive!

awesome shot. I love the DOF on it the best, but the expression and the vivid colors are also quite nice. However, it could be a tad bigger.
